Today Yoko announced its biggest product launch to date: over 20 new products and features designed to give South Africa's independent businesses the advantages they need to win, along with a first look at Yoko AI, the company's first AI agent.

For years, independent businesses, which power 40% of South Africa's economy, have been running on tools that were never built for them: generic, disconnected, designed for big business and underpowered for small business. Yoko started by addressing access to payments. Today, it is giving independent businesses an unfair advantage: a smart commerce platform that takes them from survival to growth.

Yoko Chief Business Officer Carl Wazen said, “Yoko started by giving independent businesses access to payments. Today, we're giving them tools that were meant only for larger businesses, at a price made for small businesses. We call this an unfair advantage.”
