South Africa vs New Zealand Live Score, T20 World Cup 2026: South Africa will aim to continue their unblemished campaign at the T20 World Cup 2026 when they take on New Zealand in the first semi-final at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday.

The Proteas, playing in their fourth semi-final, are chasing a first T20 World Cup title in 2024 after finishing runners-up to India. New Zealand, who are in their fifth Final Four, will be looking to do better than their 2021 runners-up.

The two teams clashed early in the tournament, with South Africa chasing 175 to win by seven wickets in just 17.1 overs. South Africa finished on top of Super 8 Group 1 with wins over India, West Indies and Zimbabwe, making it seven consecutive wins. After defeating Sri Lanka, sharing points with Pakistan due to rain and losing to England by a narrow margin, New Zealand advanced from Group 2 on the basis of better net run rate.

Aiden Markram has led South Africa with 268 runs, while Lungi Ngidi has taken 12 wickets. Tim Seifert and Rachin Ravindra have performed brilliantly for New Zealand.
