The National Lottery Commission (NLC) says the appointment of Sizekhaya as South Africa's fourth national lottery operator marks the beginning of an era of technological innovation and modernization for the country's lottery system.

Through the National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund, billions of rands have been channeled to charitable causes, sports and entertainment, arts, culture, heritage and community development initiatives that continue to transform lives across South Africa.”

The NLC said it will continue to provide strong regulatory oversight as SizeKhaya implements its modernization plans, ensuring that public trust is protected, while maximizing the lottery's contribution to economic and social development.
