TVS Motor Company has announced its re-entry into the South African market. It has partnered with The Nexus Collective, an exclusive distributor backed by Bidvest Group Limited, South Africa's largest automotive distributor.

According to a release, with this launch, TVSM becomes the only two-wheeler brand in South Africa to operate across multiple product variants and segments simultaneously.

This expansion is a cornerstone of TVSM's international growth strategy. By 2025, international trade will account for 25 percent of the company's total sales, with Africa representing more than half of global operating revenues and nearly 70 percent of export unit volumes, the release said.

Payman Kargar, President, International Business, said, South Africa is a strategically important market for TVS Motor Company. This partnership enables us to combine global engineering excellence with strong local execution. “Our focus will be on building a scalable delivery footprint and creating sustainable long-term value in South Africa’s evolving mobility ecosystem,” he said.

TVSM is offering seven proven products for diverse applications, including daily commute, leisure, delivery utility and shared mobility: performance and sports, the release said.
