A Ghanaian pastor who has lived in South Africa for 12 years says he completely understands why South Africans are protesting against illegal immigrants. Channel One TV shared a TikTok video on 7 June 2026 of the man who had been repatriated from SA, calling out the violent methods being used attesting to the country's frustration.

When the priest spoke he did not say anything. He said South Africans have every right to be angry at what is happening in their country. He supported their complaints about crime, drug dealing and the hijacking of buildings by undocumented foreigners.

He also addressed concerns about illegal immigrants escaping justice. He said that because many people do not have proper documentation, it is almost impossible to trace them after committing a crime. He said police corruption has made things worse for ordinary South Africans trying to get help.
