- Sweet Guluva claims she has been denied access to her newborn baby after Ashley Ogle announced her birth on Valentine's Day.
- However, Ogle denied claims that he had denied her entry, saying that no reasonable efforts were made to include her throughout the pregnancy or after the baby's arrival.
- The pair's romance started on the show and continued after Biggie's stay in the house, but Guluva reportedly called it off by September last year.
What started as a heartfelt baby announcement big brother mzansi star Ashley Ogle's public feud with fellow reality star Sweet Guluwa, whose real name is Akhonamathemba Zwane, has escalated.
Following this, Ogle shared the news of her baby's arrival in a touching post, calling him her “forever valentine.” Although she did not reveal the name of the father, given their widely watched romance on the show and their relationship after leaving the house, social media users immediately concluded that it was Guluva.

However, the management team said in a statement on Tuesday big brother mzansi The winner of season five, Guluva, claimed that he had been requesting to personally meet the child as early as 2025 and formally contact Ogle's family “to address the issue of loss in accordance with Zulu culture”.
The statement alleged that despite making it clear that he wants to be involved in the child's life, he has neither met the child nor seen him in person. It further added that until he and his family are allowed to meet the child and undergo a paternity test, it would be “irresponsible” for him to confirm or deny that he is the father.
“Since an unfounded public narrative is developing without verified facts and genuine efforts to establish the identity of Sweet Guluva's child and meet him have not yielded positive results, we have instructed our legal representatives to intervene,” the statement said.
Guluva's team described him as a responsible person who will not run away from his responsibilities.
However, Ogle quickly withdrew his statement and denied that any meaningful effort was made to reach out to him or his family.

She said, “I would like to place on record that no such attempt has been made to me and my family. I cannot deny access to someone who has made no effort to be a part of the pregnancy or the birth of my son.”
She revealed that her last contact with Zwane was after the birth of her son, when he allegedly asked if his name was registered on the birth certificate. According to Ogle, he responded that he was not registered because he did not exist.
She said that soon after giving birth to the child, he requested a meeting in a public place, which she was not comfortable with.
Responding in the context of the case being handled “in accordance with Zulu culture”, Ogle said her parents were disrespected during the pregnancy because “proper procedure” was not followed.
She further alleged that she faced public bullying, insults, voice notes questioning her pregnancy, derogatory comments and discussions about her mental health at her family gatherings from some of Guluva's fans and friends.
“Since he has now suddenly become uncertain about the paternity of my son, I have nothing further to discuss with him,” she said.
Ogle and Guluva's relationship developed inside the Big Brother house and continued for some time after the show. By September last year, Ogle confirmed in an interview with media personality Lasizwe Dambuza that Guluwa had ended their romance.
“Sweet Guluva broke up with me. I was forced to move in with him. I'm a fan of Sweet Guluva and I loved him,” she said at the time.
Their outcome is an echo of the franchise's previous drama. Season three also saw winner Mpho Wabadimo and finalist Themba Brolly publicly unravel their relationship while expecting a child.
