Search continues for person swept off Addo Bridge

The search is on for a Zimbabwean man who was swept away after a bakkie fell off a flooded low-water bridge in Addo, Eastern Cape, according to reports. EWN. Police said five Zimbabweans attempted to cross the Korni River along Slagboom Road. Two bodies have already been recovered from the river. Two passengers traveling behind the vehicle managed to jump to safety. Police spokesman Marius McCarthy said an investigation docket had been opened as search and rescue efforts continued.
